Whangauni DHB rolled out Vensa mHealth+ in may 2011 to tackle missed appointment rates in outpatients - The DHB reportedly by end of July 2011 already dropped DNA rates to the lowest they have been in two years. Whangauni DHB Jan Denman and Steve Rayner provided video feedback on how Vensa mHealth+ has improved missed appointment rates and patient feedback.

Since the service has been implemented in May 2011, there has been a drop of DNA's from 9.8% May, 8.5% June, 7.7% July immediatly. The service is currently automating appointment reminders for the 4 hospitals operated by the DHB. Jan Denman, Kay Munro and Steve Rayner give their feedback on video.

Jan Denman and Kay Munro were monitering the rollout of Vensa mHealth+ in Whangauni DHB outpatient appointments. In two months of rolling out the service, 20% reductions in DNAs were achieved which was the lowest rate in two years for the DHB.

Steve Rayner (CIO) from Whanganui DHB shares the feedback on introducing Vensa mHealth+ at the hospital for reminding patients of appointments, integration into the Patient Administration system and missed appointment reductions and future of mHealth.
