Ahmad Jubbawey - Chief Executive Officer 

In 2005 Ahmad founded Vensa which previously traded as AY Technologies as a Mobile Marketing company, and shortly afterwords the company became involved in health sector offering health provider mobile messaging communications with their patients for applications such as appointment reminders, test results alerts.

Ahmad did not learn about business through reading conventional business books, but by following his instincts and having an eye for what customers and consumers want. Through the years, Ahmad was able to manage cash-flows, raise capital, acquire grants and surround him self with good advisors and staff who are proud of the impact Vensa is making.

Ahmad aspires to creating a global brand which represents allowing people to achieve what they want to achieve in their day-to-day life. Vensa Group will expand its offerings in multiple industries offering various solutions and services through its subsidiary companies with the years to come.

Ahmad is spending a lot of time in Dubai (UAE) and Asia now as he has been invited to speak at the first global Mobile Health conference in September 2010 and he is currently looking at launching Vensa Health UAE to take the business internationally.

 

 

Roger Hatrick-Smith - Chief Financial Officer 

Roger has a deep understanding of the issues and challenges facing businesses wanting to grow both in New Zealand and offshore. He has advised many businesses through various stages of growth offering insights and knowledge acquired through many years of working closely with entrepreneurs and their businesses.

Roger’s career has included senior line accounting positions in distribution, hotels and process manufacturing industries followed by a number of years in consulting roles. Roger assisted small to very large organisations undertake strategic reassessments of their business objectives in light of changing market circumstance - often supported with the implementation of organisational and information systems change projects in support of those objectives.

His consulting experience spanned all major business process activity areas including operations and supply chain, management and support processes More recently Roger has provided strategic, business and financial advice to high growth New Zealand businesses as leader of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneurial and Growth Markets Group and its Transaction Advisory service line in New Zealand. Roger currently handles the CFO functions for Vensa Health.

 

 

Cornelius Dirven - National Sales Director  

Cornelius has worked his entire career in the health sector. Initially as a medical laboratory technologist, in Holland and NZ, followed by a period in health insurance, with the last eight years in Health IT.

Cornelius is passionate about increasing efficiencies in the health sector using smart IT solutions.

As the sales director of a NZ Health IT company, he provided IT services and products to GPs, Primary Healthcare Organisations, District Health Boards, and other healthcare providers. Delivering a wide range of products and services to a very large group of diverse healthcare providers, needs an excellent understanding of the clients requirements, an ability to listen, and deliver the correct solution. Cornelius is dedicated to delivering real value to his clients. Through his honest approach, and commitment to provide the best possible service, he has built a large group of very loyal clients. This often leads to the products and services promoted by Cornelius to become the market leaders in the sector.

He is well respected in the the NZ Health IT community, and is excited to join VensaHealth, and looks forward to delivering mobile healthcare solutions to the NZ healthcare sector.

 

 

Anossis Oliveira - General Manager - ICT  

Anossis has over 15 years of deep practical experience developing and implementing complex ICT solutions in a variety of situations and environments.

From 1995 to 2003, he created and managed a multi award-winning software development company overseeing a network of over 50 dealers and about 3000 clients nationwide while still living in Brazil. At the end of 2003, he then sold his company and migrated to NZ. From 2004 to 2007, Anossis performed IT consultancy and software development roles focusing on bridging strategic business needs to the right technological solutions. From 2007 to 2010 he worked for Telecom NZ performing end-to-end business analysis activities for large and complex programmes of work (NZ$500M+, 100+ stakeholders).

In October 2010, Anossis joined Vensa as the General Manager of ICT to oversee Product Development, Operations, and Strategy. Anossis has a robust knowledge about the entire ICT industry with a solid understanding of its business principles, best practices, architectures, standards and governance frameworks. He has also an open interest in overall Health and a genuine passion for the development of the many great life improvements that combined ICT/Health solutions can achieve - especially in the mobile Health field (mHealth).

Anossis holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration as well as several business and technical certifications.

 

 

Dianne Waddell - Client Manager

Dianne has significant experience, in Management and in providing Customer service within the Health Sector and has a successful track record with companies in the areas of General Practice, PHO, allied Health and lately IT. Dianne comes from a background in Practice Management, with 7 years experience in a large A & M and 6 years in a smaller 3 Doctor Surgery.  She also has experience as a business advisor, facilitator, and software installer/trainer.

In June 2007 Dianne was appointed the position of Practice support Facilitator for Procare Health. This involved assisting 47 Practices to achieve their PHO objectives, installing new software and training staff, as well as providing support and management advice. 

Dianne joined Vensa Health Ltd as the Customer Support Manager nationally. Vensa Health Ltd enables healthcare professionals to communicate with their patients via secure electronic text messaging to remind them of their appointments, recalling them for screening and notification of lab results.  Dianne’s role is to facilitate installation and show the Practice staff the features, how to integrate TXT2Remind with their policies and procedures and train them on how to use TXT2Remind within the Practice environment.
